Toyota ATF Type T-IV is a high-performance automatic transmission fluid specifically formulated for Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles equipped with non-WS (World Standard) transmissions.Engineered to provide specific friction coefficients to prevent "shudder" and ensure smooth shifting in older Aisin-Warner transmissions.Type T-IV and Toyota WS are not interchangeable. WS is a lower-viscosity fluid designed for modern fuel efficiency.
