Mobil SHC Gear 150 is a high-performance synthetic industrial gear oil designed to protect equipment and extend oil life under extreme loads and temperatures. It is an ISO VG 150 grade lubricant formulated to resist micropitting and traditional wear in modern, heavily loaded gearboxes.Recommended for enclosed drives, including steel-on-steel spur, helical, and bevel gears used in the steel, paper, textile, and cement industries.Specifically formulated for modern, case-hardened gearing susceptible to micropitting.Suitable for applications experiencing very low or very high operating temperatures. Used in plastic extruder gearboxes and off-highway vehicle motorized wheel gearboxes (approved under GE specification D50E35).
