ADNOC Voyager HPSD 20W-40 (High-Performance Super Diesel) is a heavy-duty, multigrade engine oil designed for high-output diesel engines. While similar to the 15W-40 version, the 20W-50 grade provides a thicker oil film, making it a preferred choice for older engines or vehicles operating in extremely hot climates where maintaining oil pressure is critical.It is often referred to as a "mixed-fleet" oil because it is suitable for both diesel and certain gasoline engines.The "50" weight at operating temperature provides superior protection against metal-to-metal contact in older engines with wider tolerances.Formulated with a high Base Number (TBN 10), which neutralizes acidic compounds formed when burning high-sulfur diesel fuel.Helps prevent the smoothing of cylinder liners (bore polishing), ensuring the engine maintains proper compression and low oil consumption.Advanced dispersants keep soot particles suspended, preventing them from forming abrasive sludge that can wear down engine parts.Suitable for older gasoline engines (API SJ) that require a thicker oil to reduce leaks or noise.
